Chia Network launches Global Hackathon «Global Chia Hackathon» together with Sirius Labs

The long-awaited Global Chia Hackathon, held by Sirius Labs with the support of the Chia Network and investors, will be available for official application from August 12. Participants can submit their projects via Devpost and Hackerlink (sending Hackerlink is limited to Asia).

Tracks or themes may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Improving decentralized financing
  • Improvement of non-exchangeable tokens
  • Improvement of the second layer
  • GameFi
  • Tools, wallets, etc. and so on

Hackathon participants will have the opportunity to compete for the grand prize of $ 100,000, and the total prize pool will be $ 500,000. In addition, the winners receive the right to participate in the Seed investment fund in the amount of 1 million US dollars from sponsors. The first 100 teams selected to participate can receive limited edition blockchain collectibles (depending on availability).

In order to ensure code integrity and provide the best tools and training materials on Chialisp, Chia Network together with Sirius Labs will conduct an online Chialisp training as part of the hackathon. This training is primarily intended for communication, exchange of experience and obtaining new information from developers and leading global experts of Chia, including Bram Cohen, founder of Chia Network, Matthew Hauff, Adam Kelly, Matt Howard and Richard Kiss.

The online training on Chialisp will take place entirely online on the Chialisp website from August 9 to 11, 2021. The Chia team will release updated video tutorials, presentations and examples. On August 9, he will hold a webinar at ZOOM together with Bram Cohen. Experienced Chialisp mentors will be available at the event, ready to answer all your questions.

The training is available to all Chia enthusiasts and blockchain developers.
