The Chia blockchain database in Torrent format is available for download and will be published quarterly

I am pleased to share the news that in the future, Chia developers will provide quarterly Database Checkpoints as part of a continuous improvement strategy. You will be able to access these checkpoints via BitTorrent, a Torrent protocol for P2P file sharing created by founder Bram Cohen. Checkpoints are the first step to a better P2P synchronization model.

What does this mean? You will have secure access to the current version of the Chia blockchain database. Checkpoints will improve the security and reliability of transactions, as well as increase the speed and efficiency of the blockchain. In addition, it will simplify the process of including new nodes in the network and synchronizing their status.

We are pleased to introduce this new feature and want to receive your feedback to continue innovation and ecosystem improvements for everyone! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact our team at Keybase.

This is the first step on the long road to integrating functions into the functionality of the reference client. At this point, users will have to manually move the database files they get from this path to the right location. But it should be a faster and more efficient way to start farming on the blockchain.

The problem with the long synchronization and search of the Chia blockchain database has been solved, we are waiting for new updates.
